What gets counted—and what does not.
What is a successful protected action?
One unique final production approval, or one successfully completed Action Check execution. A linked verification and execution are counted once.
What does not count?
Sandbox activity, rejected or malformed requests, replays, idempotent retries, challenges, presentations, credential lifecycle events, failed effects, Totem errors, audit views, and exports.
How does the free live evaluation work?
An organization owner can claim it without a card. The 30-day clock begins with the first successful live protected action. It ends after 25 successful live actions or 30 days, whichever happens first.
What happens after the evaluation?
There is no automatic charge. New live approvals stop until the organization upgrades, while sandbox, revocation, audit, and export remain available.
Who pays?
The organization protecting the receiving system pays. Invited counterparties are not charged to accept credentials or present them.
What happens above the included usage?
Paid plans continue operating and accumulate overage at the displayed per-action rate. The usage page shows an estimate before invoicing.
When is Scale less expensive?
Production and Scale cost the same at 175,000 monthly actions. Scale is less expensive above that volume.
